Bronchoscopy Today

Jack had his bronch today and the news was good. His airway is not narrowed anywhere except for at his vocal cords, which are swolen from the ET tube. So, the ENT doctor recomended that we wait for 2 weeks and try to extubate him again. Durning this time our hope is that he will get bigger and have more lung capacity to overcome any swelling in his airway. We are also going to try some other things to try to reduce the swelling in his vocal cords, mainly reducing any acid reflux he may have during his feedings.
